This is a page devoted to awesome things that dogs do. Below are photos that are worth a thousand words. This is the
reason that I love the German Shepherd. These pictures will show you just how determined they are and what they will do for
those that they love....... and also things that they want.

This is a picture of king. Yes, he is climbing a ladder and there is his face just as he nears the top. Apparently he
didn't want to stay on the ground after his owner, Matt went up to repair his moms roof. King had never even attempted
to climb a ladder before this. This picture was taken with a camera phone since King didn't warn us to be ready before he
climbed the ladder.

There is King with Matt sitting on the roof just as happy as he can
be. After all he did just accomplish his goal and besides that he has a great view. Matt is also just the slightest
bit proud of his dog. King continued to climb the ladder, even after he was returned to the ground.

Sometimes people do not realize just how agile the German Shepherd is.
Below ....
These are pictures of Penny jumping to get her stick. Penny is very high drive and will do ANYTHING for a ball or a stick.
She has jumped over 16 feet in length from the time that her paws left the ground to the time that she landed. Penny will
also jump approx. 10 feet off the end of a dock going after a stick.

Below....
Makes you wonder just how far will dogs go to get you to play fetch. Other
dogs might give up when you take their sticks but never underestimate the german shepherd........they might just bring you
the whole tree.

I'm not even sure why kiara is biting penny's tongue. I guess that it's a good thing that
these two are such great friends. Penny really doesn't seem to mind all that much. Maybe Kiara thought that it
was a ball, or she is just trying to get penny to chase her again????
