Here
at Patchwork Shepherds we are striving to provide families with the "perfect" pet. We want to give people a dog that not only
can be a great family companion but could also compete in the show ring, herding, working and/or obedience ring. Here we try
to raise beautiful dogs with sound temperaments. Our dogs have constant attention and are taken out herding,to the park,
petstores and on walks to insure that they are not bothered by stuff and to keep them socialised.
Most, but not all, of our dogs are import lines. We have dogs from Germany, Romania,
Holland ect. and we also offer ALL puppies/dogs with hip/health
guarantees. Our dogs are (hip) checked and certified with either OFA, PENNHIP or "a" stamp. We also obtain temperament
certification on the parents to insure that they are suited for breeding and all of our dogs have natural working abilities.

One of our goals is to provide you with EXACTLY what
you want, right down to the color. We can produce Black/Red, Black/Tan, Black/cream, White, Black, Sable and also long or
short coats. Our dogs have strong temperaments and are very outgoing. The puppies are raised being handled daily and are very
well socialized. None of our dogs are left alone when they are welping their puppies. We are there the whole
time to assist and to insure that our puppies have the best chance possible. We also stay to insure that our mothers
have a safe and easy delivery. By the time that a puppy is 8 weeks and ready to go to its new home it will have had
at least 3 wormings and 1 shot. All puppies come with a full puppy packet with information on everything relating to what
food it’s on to pictures of parents, grandparents ect. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Our main goal is to give families a high quality dog
that is everything that they want and can do anything that they want. Although we do sell puppies with full registration
we do ask for references and it is not something that we do often. We want to find the best homes possible for our puppies
where they are loved, played with and have forever homes. We do ask that if ever you can not keep your puppy that you return
it to us and we will find a suitable new home for it. The reason for this is that we never want our puppies to have to go
to shelters and we want to "know" where all of our puppies are. We take great pride in our dogs and want to insure
their well being. We will always take our puppies/dogs back (no questions asked) if ever there is a need.
UPDATE.... We bought a house on 5.6 acres in Emmett, Idaho. We will
post a page with pictures of our new home this coming summer. We will be working on getting our kennels set up and hope
tohave our main facilities completed asap. We will be building a barn/shop with 8 10x10 kennels in doors
with 4 on each side. They will also have dog doors with access to a 10x10 kennel outside. We are also putting
in a "puppy lodge" with 4 heated 5 x 8 puppy pens with outdoor kennels as well. We will also have different
fenced areas so that dogs will be able to run and play. We will be putting in a separate fenced in puppy playground
with tons of activities and toys. We have an approx. 20 x 50 foot pond that we are also going to get cleaned
up and put a nice grassy area around so that the dogs can go swimming during the hot summers. Another thing
that we plan on doing is getting our own sheep so that we can work our dogs at our home and so that we can test new puppies
out to determine their working abilities. We would love for anyone to come (once we are set up) to watch us work the
dogs. We will encourage everyone to visit, meet the dogs, inspect our facilities and see how we
raise and care for our dogs/puppies. We will also be setting up an agility course and welcome anyone to use
it if they wish. Our dogs are treated as part of the family and are loved and played with constantly.
